Custom Form in Public Folders? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Just upgraded from 2003 to 2010 and I have a custom form that needed to be updated to work in 2010.  Updates complete and I published the form to the Organizational Forms Library so everyone can use it.  But now when I try to save a new record I get the following error:

"The item cannot be saved to this folder.  The folder was deleted or moved, or you do not have permission.  Do you want to save a copy of it in the default folder for this item?"

This is a calendar public folder so if I select “Yes” to this question it saves in my personal Calendar.  If I select “No” it just returns me to the item I’m trying to save.

I have Owner permissions to the Public Folder in question.

I also noticed that if I look in the File tab |Info |Move to Folder is greyed out.

Searching the Internet I have found nothing so far but the hunt continues.

Management is getting anxious for this form to be deployed so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Linn
