Passing data from access db into a word document? RRS feed

  • I made a tenant application with access database in visual basic for a landlord to keep track of tenant details and finances. 
    The landlord was very happy with the application but asked if I were able to add a feature that allows him to auto-generate a lease renewal letter to the tenant. 

    Could someone please point me in the right direction as I have no idea where to start. 

    Below is an example of a letter and how I need to construct it. 

    <tenant name, address and date from database goes here>

    Dear sirs, 

    I, <tenant name from database goes here> hereby offer to take on lease from XXXXX...ALL and WHOLE the unfurnished dwelling house known as <tenant property from database goes here> together with....

    terms and conditions 

    1) the lease will run from <tenant entry date from database goes here>

    2) the rent will be <tenant rent from database goes here>

    I hope this makes sense and someone could at least point me in the right direction of where to start. It would really make my application more sophisticated and appealing to other potential landlords. I honestly just don't know where to start with this.
