Unable to Service Request when clicking Error Code help link

    Question

  • Using Visual Studio 2015 and with Chrome as my default browser, sometimes I click the error code link in my Error List (Show Error Code Help) after compiling C++ code with an error in it.

The first time I click the link I get taken to a page that says "Unable to Service Request".  Like this one:  https://msdn.microsoft.com/Areas/Epx/Content/500.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/query/dev14.query

The second time I click the link, it seems to go to the right spot.  For example, C3646 ultimately takes me to https://msdn.microsoft.com/query/dev14.query?appId=Dev14IDEF1&l=EN-US&k=k(C3646)&rd=true

I haven't figured out what "resets" it back to producing the Unable to Service Request error, but it happens to me a lot. (Maybe when I close my browser?  Maybe when I close Visual Studio?  Haven't nailed it down yet.)

Anyone know why this happens?  Does it happen to anyone else?
