    I need testing UI of my Xamarin application under iOS. I use the Xamarin.UITest | CrossPlatform on Visual Studio (windows 10) for this. Yesterday i found the solution of Android and now need it for iOS simulator. My PC is connected to mac, and I can start application on local machine in simulator. But I can't start UI test :

    public class AppInitializer
       public static IApp StartApp(Platform platform)
           if (platform == Platform.Android)
                return ConfigureApp
            return ConfigureApp

    Message: SetUp : System.Exception : iOS tests are not supported on Windows.

    iOS Simulator Work correct, why I can't start UI.Test ? Thanks!

    Does anyone know if there has been any progress on this front? It would be really handy to be able to run iOS UI tests from a Windows machine with VS 2017. Thanks!

    @XcodXam you ever get this to work. I swear it worked in November of last year on VS 2017

    The Microsoft documentation I have just read says that iOS UI Tests do not work on Windows.

    EDIT: And here is one of the links https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/appcenter/test-cloud/uitest/working-with-ios-simulator?tabs=vswin

    For being able to run Xamarin.UITest iOS tests locally on a simulator via VS on WINDOWS (connected to a mac): express your interest here: https://github.com/microsoft/appcenter/issues/574
