WEC2013 Wave2 issue - CTK misses required files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi IoTGirl,

looks like Wave2 distribution misses and doesn't install CTK Test Catalog files (*.TPT)
It should be installed to 'Program Files (x86)\Windows Embedded Compact 2013 Test Kit\tests' folder.

As a result, CTK becomes unuseful and even can't load old TPS files.

Please ask QA to fix it.

    P.S. I'm using Wave2 diskimage from MyOEM portal - 'X20-87524_7229749.img'

    Best regards, Igor

  • Hi Igor,

I have sent an email to the builders to look into this.

  • The latest update (July 2016) restores some, but still quite a few are missing (when comparing to WEC7). No camera tests, no I2C tests, no keyboard tests, no smart card tests, not all silverlight tests. etc.

Here's the full list of still missing CETK tests:

    • bootstress (bootloader test)
    • cameragraphtests
    • cameraperfcerttest
    • cameraperftests
    • cameraqualitytest
    • cddatest
    • cdromtest
    • ddi_test
    • ddints
    • ddrawtk
    • gdiprint
    • i2c tests (testi2c, i2cconfigparser)
    • ifdtesttux
    • kbdtest
    • keymap
    • msm
    • msmflat
    • partest
    • scardbvt
    • udftest
    • vmre2etest
    • xrapploadtests

    Good luck,

  • Hi Michel,

Can you confirm how this list was generated?  Some of these items were available in CE 7 but were deprecated in CE 8 and were never shipped with that version of the OS.  (CD Rom driver test for example)

Can you confirm which of these you actually need and also confirm that they were available at ship?
