    I am trying to locate a Microsoft best practices documentation for Web application deployment to IIS.  The topic that I have concern most is in the "Root" directory deployment.  Some say that it is against best practices to deploy my web application to the root folder, but I've not been able to locate these documentation to support these claim.

    Hi James,

    The forum supports .net framework setup. I think your issue may be more about IIS. I suggest you post your issue to the IIS forum for better support.
