Create WCF Service in .Net 2.0 RRS feed

  • Hi Everyone,

    We need to create WCF service (self hosting) that should run in .Net framework 2.0 on XP machine. But i am not able to add required .dll to the .Net 2.0 WCF service project.

    we don't want to use web service. Please tell me know how i can achieve this or any alternative.

    Your best shot is to use .NET Remoting.

  • WCF was introduced on .NET 3.5. Why are you avoiding  Web Services? Is there any special reasons?
