Best practices for changing resource's calendars

Hi!

I would like to know the recommended way for changing a resource's calendar. The issue is:

• We open the Resource Center in Project Professional
• We then change the resource's calendar using the button Change Working Time and save changes
• We add the new working week for the resource, stating the beginning and finish dates

Then, we need to query capacity for each resource. We use MSP_EpmResourceByDay_UserView and we have found that the field Capacity changes accordingly but does not respect the dates we set. 

Anyone can help with this? Perhaps we are doing something wrong..
