Sharepoint 2013 Webpart in VS 2012

Hi all,

I want to create Sharepoint 2013 Webpart in CSOM where I dont have Sharepoint Environment in my local system. I have only Sharepoint Client dll. files, Project Server Dev URL & VS 2012.

So kindly guide me how can I do this by only having Visual Studio 2012 files and PWA UrL of development server.

Hi Soumya,

If you don’t have access to SharePoint Server machine, it will not be able to create web part.

In SharePoint 2013, developers can create SharePoint App(aka SharePoint Add-in) for custom requirements:
