Does Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel support the Office 365 ProPlus RRS feed

  • Which version of Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel is recommended for having as reference to Excel 2016 / Office 365 ?
    There is a version 15.0.4795.1000. Is this version released because of Office 365 ?
    Which version of Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel can be compatible with Excel 2016 wether it is or not is Office 365 ?
    Do we need to build a setupfile per version of Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel ? So users with Office 365 gets another Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel then users whithout Office 365 ?

    there is no any different version of Office interop for Office 365.

    Office and Office 365 both work with same Office interop library.

    you can try to refer the latest version of interop library.

    if you are going to work with multiple versions of Office then you can try to refer link below.

    Running Solutions in Different Versions of Microsoft Office

    you need to install Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime to run the solution on multiple version of office.
