SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_NULL_c0000005_avcuf64.dll!Unknown

    Question

  • Hi,

I see this crash in my dashboard:

    SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_NULL_c0000005_avcuf64.dll!Unknown

    It happened 14000+ times.

Does this mean that the "avcuf64.dll" caused the crash? Which is a windows dll so I can't do anything about this? Or is it possible to fix such an error from my side?

    Best Regards

  • It appears to be a problem with BitDefender antivirus. There's nothing you can do to fix this. I seriously doubt it's affecting that many people, but it's hard to accurately measure.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
