Month calendar appereance is not changing.

Question
-
I have a couple of month calendars in my project which I would like to give a different back color and such, but somehow if i change the appearance properties of a Mont Calendar in the property window the Mont Calendar appearance doesn't change.
Is this a common bug with the mont calendars or should I change the properties in the code itself?
Anybody else had this problem?

There is no problem in changing the backcolor or calenderdimensions property in the properties window

Oke thnx folks. Well at my PC it still doesn't work. But I read somewhere that the Month calendar properties are defined by your windows installation configurations.
So I have windows 7 ultimate installed here with a certain theme activated so that theme might define the appearance of the Mont Calendar or can this not be the case?
I also tried to make a new project with only a Mont calendar in it and change the back color. But still nothing happened. The appearance stayed the same.

In addition to asgar I tested it with code and with the property box, no problems at all.

Then try it with the themes disable, that is something we don't need to do for you.
Give us a reply if that was the problem.

Oke I changed the theme to Windows classic and I could indeed change the background of the control. But when I use my own custom Theme I can't change anything. That kind of sucks. Well At least I know the problem now.
