Store rolled out update to a PREVIOUS version of my app! RRS feed

  • Question

  • This morning I received an update to an app on my phone. An app that I developed. I found it weird that I could not remember recently submitting an update. As I looked into the update, I found that the Windows Phone Store was having me download an update that returned the app to a previous version.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix planned, or is it just a one-time thing, an anomaly? I worry that if I submit an additional update, one that actually bring the app to a newer version, that this might happen again.

Please tell me you guys are looking into a fix for this. :/

  • Hi Jacob, I've never heard of this happening to any other apps. I would suggest that you proceed to submit your latest release as an update. If you want clarification on the update you mentioned please contact support (mention my name in the notes of the request) and I'll take a look to see what happened with that last update.

    Thanks
