Trigger Disabled by itself RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everybody

We are working on gps systems. Many devices send data to server and all data processing such as parsing or calculating operations are done on sql server. At that system, we have a trigger that calls stored procedures according to the header information of received gps data. But sometimes, that trigger is stopped by itself. How can i fix this problem ?

    Thanks.

  • There is nothing in SQL Server which would automatically disable a trigger.  This could only be caused by a user or code.

I would suspect you have some code which does "something" and the coder decided to disable the trigger while this process is running.

  • I mean Trigger is disabled. I fix this problem with right click then enable. I do that as manually.
