  • bad format!!!

    Hi all

i share two folders on ce6.0 with smb.

no problem with a CF 4go but now with 8go acces is not always allowed!

i need to uncheck(+submit) then check in http://192.168.0.224/remoteadmin/SMBBasic.htm to work again.

    any idea?

Is it possible by soft to enable/disable adapter? don't found function.

ftp is woking fine, but i need explorer acces for XP/win7.

    thk

  • There's not a single function to enable/disable the adapter, no. You can mark the adapter as disabled in the registry and Unbind it (see my extensive posts on this subject from previous versions of the OS [Google "unbind adapter windows ce"]). An example thread is below:

    http://us.generation-nt.com/answer/enable-network-adaptor-programically-help-62794952.html

    What is an 8go? A 4go?

It sounds like you're working really hard to work around a bug in some code in your platform rather than just fixing it. Please redefine the problem for us, describe the manual work-around you've found and we might be able to direct you further.

  • HI

8go means 8 giga byte for the compact flash (CF). I'd like to fixe it but no one mention any isue about big CF.

It's very strange, i compare registry from 4go to 8go and they are exactly the same.

could big CF erase someting in kernel? cache bigger ...

i analyse ethernet frame and it seems the chanel is not weel synchronised and so TCP doesn't give paquet to SMB. (see image captures)

    material :

board GOT5120T-830 with x86 processor (http://www.axiomtek.com/products/ViewProduct.asp?view=728). CE6.0 with all last update.

file server enable SMB and FTP.

with compact flash of 4 Giga bytes : no problem with SMB acces from xp to direct IP of the terminal.

now we clone the CF 4Gb to a 8Gb and xp can't acces (FTP works).

    regards
