Need help with VB6 Data Report (Textbox truncation) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am working on an old VB6 application that generates reports produced from VB Data Reports. The report data source is a dynamically generated SQL statement bound to the report at run-time. The problem I am running into is with the text boxes truncating the data at 255 characters. I have been unable to locate any property settings in the text box controls, data report, or the IDE that would allow me to change this.

Can anyone provide insight on how to overcome the 255 character limitation?
