Mobile Control in System.Web.UI.Page RRS feed

    Hi

    I'm not sure it's possible, but it would be great if there is some way to load a mobile control on a regular ASP.NET web page.

    I have controls inheriting from SystemMobileControl. If the control only contains regular tags like a <br/> tag, it's possible to load it into a table cell. However, if the control contains a mobile tag such as <mobile:image> I get the error that such a control or tag can only be loaded into a MobilePage.

    So is there any good ways to force the control to load into a System.Web.UI.Page?

    I'm loading it into a cell in a custom gridview...

    Error message is:

    "MobileControl must be contained within a MobilePage: ASP.default_aspx" when trying to run following line:

    e.Row.Cells[3].Controls.Add(_modulePreview);

    Hope anyone knows about this...

    Moderator moved this to Mobile category, but this is really not where it belongs. It's about putting mobile controls on a regular .net Page. The only thing mobile about it, is that I want to put a mobile control on the regular aspx page...
