    Hi,

On the latest Windows 10 update there's a bug between Windows 10 and EntityFramework, which prevents me from running Enable-Migrations and Update-Database.

    Bug info: https://entityframework.codeplex.com/workitem/2872

Does anyone know of a work around? I need EF to generate my database until this bug is fixed.

    Hi TheJackah,

You could use Windows 10 Technical Preview to build 14251 or you could reverted back to 11082 and everything is working fine.

We will post any updates on this bug: https://entityframework.codeplex.com/workitem/2872

    Best Regards,

    Hi TheJackah,

How would I revert back without losing any files?

You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to go back to a previous build of Windows.

This tutorial will show you how to go back to the previous Windows from Windows 10 without losing your documents, photos, and other personal files:

Perfect, thank you - and final questions, do you have any idea or estimation when a fix might be available?

    Hi TheJackah,

    https://entityframework.codeplex.com/workitem/2872

This place will follow up this issue and they are looking to identify the root cause of what it is not working. Not only the EF team, but also the Windows and Visual Studio teams are looking why it is not working as expected.

    Thanks for your understanding.
