Logging to DB and FileSystem RRS feed

Not having an IIS8 setup availble to me at the current time. Can one have logs sent to two places at the same time? Currently I have an SSIS package that picks up the logs, parses them out, then imports them to a DB table for investigation purposes. I was wondering if IIS 8 would allow daily logs to be imported to a DB as well as written to the filesystem.

    Thank you,

I see no reason why you couldn't setup IIS to rollover the log daily and run a script to import the previous days log into a DB.  I'm not aware of a capability in IIS to log directly to a DB so a scripted solution to import the previous days log is the only solution I can think of.

What are you trying to accomplish by importing the log data into a database?  I'll bet log parser or powershell can accomplish the same task.

I believe, it is not possible to save log files in two different places(Database & File systmem) at same time probably you can move the log file from server file system to the database through script or you can configure IIS to log directly in database using ODBC logging feature of IIS.
