Updatepanel,progressbar,downloading a documnet in code behind

Hi,

Button is inside the update panel,and there is a progress bar .Progress bar working fine but documnet is not getting downloaded.

If  i add triggers i will not see the progressbar image.

Please suggest me .Is i can achiev this using ajaxcontrols

Downloading document code part alone put in another button's event.

Nope,

I need to show the progress bar as well documnet has to get downloaded in browser.

And aslo i m using response.context to download.

Progressbar works I won t see the documnet downloads.

How to achieve both

The Response object shouldn't be used in conjunction with UpdatePanels/UpdateProgress controls.  It has to do with how the ScriptManager manages the DOM objects on the page and keeps track of what updates and what shouldn't.
