  • Hi AVenice,

According to your description, which version of Visual Studio are you using? As far as I know that starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. The version of WIF addressed by this topic, WIF 3.5, is deprecated and should only be used when developing against the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or the .NET Framework 4.

For more information, click here to refer about Windows Identity Foundation SDK

In addition you could refer to below link about Offline installation of Microsoft Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio 2012 RTM:

  • Hello,

How do you upgrade Office tools? Did you download a separate installer with the latest build of Office tools?

    Try to install http://aka.ms/officedevtoolsforvs2015 .
