How to Build a package with Database file in in it? RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    Am Developing Windows 8.1 Metro App With SQLLite Dbin it.

    Am trying to create package but it is not loading DB file.

    My App package is Creating successfully But am unable to fetch Data from my database file.

    My App is running successfully in Visual Studio.

    But if i try to install it it is crashing.

  • Hello Arjun,

    Can you set your db file property BuildAction:->Resource. Then when your app start then check In your app's local folder db file is there If not than copy it.

    I have tried the the link,but it didnt worked .

    it is creating database file in local folder but without data in it.

    Any suggestion would be of great help.

    And the answer with above link is suitable for Windows 8 Apps..

    Does it applies the same for Windows 8.1???

    Coz Am developing My App in Windows 8.1 with VS2013.
