  • Get the following error installing the nuget package in VS2015:

    PM> Install-Package Microsoft.Azure.KeyVault

My coworker is able to add it using VS2013, but 2015 doesn't see to think the packages are available for  Bond.Core.cs.StrongNameSigned.

  • Hi JeffDC ,

What version of Nuget are you trying to install like 3.0 ( available only for VS2015 only ) .

Azure key vault requires NuGet 2.5 or higher. Please check and confirm the same.

  • I am using the latest in VS2015, so is my coworker, we both have the same issue. Are you saying you dont have this problem trying to load the nuget package in 2015 to a new project? We can 100% repro.

  • Any updates ? This happens with packages that have dependencies and one of the dependencies already included either directly or as part of another package.

  • I debugged it http://apmtips.com/blog/2015/09/21/nuget-error-an-entry-with-the-same-key-already-exists/

Here is an issue I filed on NuGet: https://github.com/NuGet/Home/issues/1412

It turns out that some server would merge dependencies for different platforms. Just clean cache at %userprofile%\.nugget and %localappdata%\nugget

  • I'm still seeing this error, even after trying Sergey's suggestion., Nuget is up-to-date. Specifically, this package causes the failure:

  • @palenshus1, I's assume you have ms-nuget as one of nugget sources? That Nuget source is one of sources that causes the issue. Please remove it from the list of sources or at least ensure that you downloaded the NuGet Microsoft.ApplicationInsights from nugget.org after cleaning up the cache. If the issue will not be resolved - ask into this GitHub thread:
