How to publish to Azure

    Question

  • My Windows Phone app is almost done and I am trying to move the webservice to the cloud. I setup a mobile webservice site in azure, downloaded the credentials, published using the option where I supply a publish info file.

It gave me an endpoint that seemed typical.

I published the wcf app, and now when I try to connect to the endpoint, I get a Not found error, and a 405 Method not found error.

Is there some simple step I am forgetting or something(ie, password entry)?  Every document I was able to find on this doesn't list any more steps after publishing.

I was hoping to publish the app tonight to Beta, but need this working first.

    thanks!

Answers

  • I found it.  I was using the production url and publishing to staging.

    Thanks.

  • Can you provide some more details on the endpoint you are trying to access? Does it end with a "/". Try removing that and try again.
