Hi Killer390,
you can try to make a database for 3 types of users.
(1) Management (2) staff (3) customers
you can add tables like management/ staff details
management users can have right to see the reports of collection , reports of profit, reports of staff members.
they will not make any entry in the tables but they can assign authority to staff members to do this tasks.
you can make a customer details and can include the fields like name, address , contact no.
you can add booking table.
in which you can include booking id, movie name, screen no, show timing, no of sheets, total cost
then you can add details regarding movie like movie name, date of release, star cast, language of the movie, category of the movie, type of the movie (like 2d or 3d) etc.
all the users have their unique username and password to login in the database.
user can insert , update and delete his information and can book and cancel tickets.
the staff members can book tickets for customers and they can insert and update the details but they can't delete. also staff members can also update and insert the details of themselves.
the management person or you can say chair person can view the daily collection, weekly collection, monthly collection and other reports. but staff members and customers are not able to view these things.
I know I have mentioned the things which are very basic in real world but it is too much for you.
and it is just a rough idea what can we include in this type of system.
so just try to understand it and try to implement in your project. no need to include all the things because you are just at the starting level and it is so much for you.
Regards
Deepak

Hi Killer390,
from your description I can assume that it is a collage project and not a real world project.
Because the Real world cinema project contains lots of things but in your table design there are very basic fields are available. so I think its a school / collage project. please correct me if I am wrong.
The other thing I want to tell you that if you are going to create a database then you should know your requirements clearly and you should not depend upon other because we just assume and can give you a suggestion but it is possible that your requirements are different from our suggestions.
if you have any client for whom you are developing this database then your client can provide you all the details of requirements.
I can recommend you to use different search engines and collect the information from there.
After that when you are really create a database and you stuck somewhere then we can help you to solve your issue.
Hope this helps you to clear the things if you still have any question regarding this please let us know.
Regards
Deepak

Hi Killer3900,
this is a new question and not related with your original post.
I would recommend you to create a new thread for each new question.
please don't asks multiple questions on a single thread which are not related with each other.
because it is possible that some other community members also have a same issue like you so when they read this thread to get the solution regarding their problem they will get confused.
if you create a new thread you will have more possibility to get more replies by other community members.
so here I think that you should create a new thread.
if you think that you got solution for your original post by the suggestions mentioned here then I would recommend you to mark the suggestion as an Answer.
Regards
Deepak
