CDN Issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

I'll make it short and would appreciate your workaround to fix this issue.

Here is the situation. I decided to use CDN for my wordpress website hosted on an external hosting company.

After configuring everything, the following issues arise:

    1) The website is not accessible using any smartphone. I don't even understand the logic of it!!
    2) The www.   leads to 404-not found error

Here is what I have set up on Azure DNS:

    @
    NS
    3600
    ns1-09.azure-dns.com.
    ns2-09.azure-dns.net.
    ns3-09.azure-dns.org.
    ns4-09.azure-dns.info.

    @
    SOA
    3600
    Email: msnhst.microsoft.com
    Host: ns1-09.azure-dns.com.
    Refresh: 3600
    Retry: 300
    Expire: 2419200
    Minimum TTL: 300

    jahandarpour.com
    A
    3600
    162.210.97.145

    jahandarpour.com
    MX
    3600
    10 mx2.exclusivehosting.net.
    10 mx1.exclusivehosting.net.

    ------

My CDN Endpoint points to my dedicated IP and I added a custom domain cdn.jahandarpour.com

I also changed my NS records on my hosting provider to:

    ns1-09.azure-dns.com.
    ns2-09.azure-dns.net.
    ns3-09.azure-dns.org.
    ns4-09.azure-dns.info.

I added a CNAME record in my hosting provider as:

    cdn.jahandarpour.com CNAME (Custom)   jahandarpour.azureedge.net    3600

    How can I fix it?

    Regards,
    Ehsan

  • We are seeing your CDN endpoint as having been recently deleted. For future reference we will need a sample URL illustrating the issue to be able to provide guidance / feedback. Providing HTTP response headers associated with a sample URL is also very helpful. Overall in most cases 404's are responses that come back directly from your origin and don't indicate an issue with the CDN. You can look at the server response header to see if the 404 is coming back from the CDN or your origin. If this is coming back from the CDN you will see a Server response header with a format of platform (POP/ID) e.g. this could be ECAcc (pae/3725).
