Debugging HealthVault source RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

To help track down a problem I need to debug into the HealthVault source.  Does anyone have any tips or pointers on how to setup a solution so you can debug into the HealthVault source?

    Thanks!

  • It is fairly straight forward:

Open the source in (that comes as a part of HV SDK) in VS.Net and get it complied in debug mode.

Now, add references to the dll (build output of HV SDK Source) from your HV Project and compile your project in debug mode.  That should be it.  You should now be able to step into HV SDK code.

  • For now, you will have to do as Raj notes.

Future releases of the .NET SDK will include the .PDB files and will be a bit easier to debug.
