Silverlight 2 - Blend2/VS 2008 Intergration RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to add events to trigger storyboards in Silverlight2, but every time I add the event and VS2008 Launches I get the error
"Cannot change the code-behind file. The Following class was not found:xxxx"
If I try and open the project direct in VS2008 I get an error telling me that the project is NOT supported!

    I've installed VS2008 SP1
    Silverlight Tools 2
    Blend 2 SP1

I used to have Silverlight Tools 3 and Blend 3 on this system but have since been un-installed.
I've spent 4-5 hours already un-installing and re-installing software to get this to work.

what else do I need? or should I try!

I would use Blend3 and SL3 but I want to put this website up in the next week.

    Thanks!

    Steve

  • Ok, So I did it one more time and Uninstalled half my machine of MS products.
then installed them all one by one in the order on the Silverlight site and now it works with SL2.
    What a pain!
it shouldn't be that finicky and require things to be done in a certain order.
I think it was the Blend3 and SL3 Tools that probably messed everything up.

    oh well......Back the work 2 days later.......8)
