After refresh in Excel Add-In, new records appear in middle of spreadsheet, rather than at the end RRS feed

  • According to user guides new records should appear at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

    However, they appear in the middle of the spreadsheet when I refresh it (highlighted in green as they should be).

    Is there a setting to fix this?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

  • One way to resolve this is to set the auto-generated code field to start at a higher number. This works because of the counting logic in Excel. if you start the counter at 1 and have ten records, then the records will be ordered as below. starting the counter from 10, 100 or 1000 means that the records are kept in the correct order.
