Indentation setting+hanging +powerpoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am working with a add in for Microsoft PowerPoint 2013.I just came across a requirement to set the indentation of a line by code.Is there any way to measure and set the indentation like hanging' absolute value?

for example in PPT 2013 I can right click on text->Paragraph->indentation and see the value of hanging eg;0.60.Is it possible to find and apply it via code??

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks & Regards

  • Hi GAM10,

We could specify ParagraphFormat.LeftIndent value to set the indentation.

    For example:

    Dim slide As PowerPoint.slide
    Set slide = ActivePresentation.Slides(3)
    slide.Shapes(1).TextFrame2.TextRange.ParagraphFormat.LeftIndent = 0.9 * 72
