Multi-lingual Session expiry Message RRS feed

     Hi,

I am using ASP.NET 2.0 and C# for creating website. The website has a login page, in which the user can enter username, password and language(English and German).

During session expiry, i have set the alert message in both German and English

When the user logs in with language German, and keeps the website idle for 20 mins, and when the session expires, I am still getting the session expiry message in English rather than German, in which the user logged in.

How to show the session expiry message depending on the language selected by the user?

    Thank you.

the user can enter username, password and language

It sounds like you've got the language stored with the user info.  So when you lose the session, you'd presumably also lose the user info - including their chosen language.

If you want the selected language to persist, you need to store it somewhere you can get at it even when they are not logged in.

Perhaps store it in a cookie?
