APPCRASH in .net application RRS feed

    Hi ,

       I have an application which works fine in xp OS...if i try the same application in Vista business/Vista home edition i get the error as below ... the bad think about it is am not able to catch the error by try..catch (or) by anything in the using the .net class world


    The Error is as given below:

    Exception code c0000005 may be the access violation. As I know, Vista perform a more strick memory policy than XP. Your failure may be caused by it.

    If you marshal string between managed and native world, I recommand you should read this:http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/clr/thread/ff1415f3-b47c-40f5-a73d-4fd7f4aa1187. This post show a case crash in Vista but run well in XP and explained how to solve the problem.
