Iterate/Read items in a multiple valued lookup column programmatically

Question

How will I read the contents/value of a lookup - multiple valued column

I have a lookup column that is multi-valued enabled

ListName is "My List"

Title               Name              Favorite Books

Info1           BillyKid            The Zone; Everywhere Blind; Twilight

Now I want to iterate to all the contents of the the column "Favorite Book" so I can get The Zone, Everywhere Blind and Twilight

how will I do this
