  • Hello Karthik,,

SSRS has a permission system independent of SQL Server permission, so you have to grant permissions in SSRS; see Grant User Access to a Report Server (Report Manager)

There are may some stored procedure in ReportServer database to add permissions with SQL, but they are not documented = not supported; usage on own risk.

  • Open the report Manager URL

Go to Site Settings in the top right

Click home, Folder Settings, then New Role Assignment  --->domain\username and select Content Manager,

open new internet explorer (non-admin) and recheck the url.
