  • You can view the logs in the Event Viewer under Security Event Logs.

    To view the security log:
    1. Open Event Viewer.
    2. In the console tree, expand Windows Logs, and then click Security. The results pane lists individual security events.
    3. If you want to see more details about a specific event, in the results pane, click the event.

  • 'in case'?

How about - where are the logs WHEN Azure AD Join fails. There's nothing anywhere in any of the logs that I can find that shows WHY the join is failing. No way I can troubleshoot or debug the failure of the laptop to Azure AD join. Nothing. Nowhere. Bah.

Have you found logs anywhere that tell you that the Azure AD join process is working or not working?

  • A bit late but I was searching for the same thing.

All event logs are located in Application and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\User Device Registration

    How to check?

You can run  get-msoldevice -All | sort displayname | ft displayname, devicetrusttype
If the type is DomainJoined the join was ok

You can also run dsregcmd /status on the computer, if the field AzureAdJoined says YES the join was ok
