>>>Will Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable work with access 2013? And please explain what is Microsoft Access 2013 Runtime
Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable works with access 2013.
Microsoft Access 2013 provides a rich platform for developing database management solutions with easy-to-use customization tools. If no end user customization is required (including report modifications), you can choose to distribute those Access 2013 solutions so that they run without requiring a full installation of Access 2013. To do so, you must package and distribute your application with the Access 2013 Runtime.
In addition if you install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable, you will get this result:

According to your description, if you are an application developer using ODBC to connect to Microsoft Office Access data, set the Connection String to “Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)};DBQ=path to mdb/accdb file”.
In addition could your provide more information about your issue, for example sample code, screenshot, MS Access version, that will help us reproduce and resolve it.
Thanks for your understanding.Thursday, March 10, 2016 2:44 AM -

I had a similar issue. I solved by downloading and installing the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255.
This was for the 32bit version.
