DXVA-HD where do I find the file dxvahdsw.dll RRS feed

  • Hi I have compiled the sample DXVA-HD from the windows 7 sdk 7.1 which works fine on my I7 CPU which support Hardware decoding but when I run the same sample on a CPU that dosnt support support Hardware decoding the DXVA-HD sample trys to load the file dxvahdsw.dll but it's nowhere to be found. Where can I get this Dll from so I can run the sample

  • dxvahdsw.dll is for testing only and is not part of the binaries released with Windows.  I think it may be part of one of the test/validation packages (maybe HCK?) but I am not sure.  You cannot depend on this binary being available on Windows systems if you create a DXVA-HD application.
