Splitting up a Word Document RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to split a word document into several different pdf files and encrypt them.  The new pdf files need to be evenly split, it is okay if a remainder is placed in the last pdf file.  (the number of files I need it split into can vary ... for instance one day I may need it split into 5 pdf files and the next it maybe 9 so i need to allow for that input in the program.)

Can anyone provide advise as to how I should go about this?  I am a very very very new to programming and I really don't know where to start, should I use a macro? or VB, or C#

  • This is a WORD queston, not a VB question, and should be posted in the WORD forum.

You can create PDF files directly from WORD using a virtual PDF printer, such as CutePDF.   To split a WORD document into several PDF files, select a range of pages instead of the whole document.
