SQL 2008 on Mobile RRS feed

Image controls within a report are getting attached on a mobile email client. The desktop email client renders the report correctly but when viewed on a mobile device the missing images (as attachments) are compromising the format of the report. Any suggestions to correct this is greatly appreciated.

    Version: SQL 2008

Report Render Type: MHTML and HTML 4.0

Thank you so much for you time.

    Hello JoshuaT123,

    Is this an external Image?

Please see: Adding Images to a Report

"When the report is previewed in Report Designer, preview uses the credentials of the user to display the image. When the report is run on the report server, the report server uses the unattended execution account to retrieve the image. If the unattended execution account is not specified, the image is retrieved using no credentials (anonymous user account). If either of these accounts have insufficient rights to access the image, the image will not be displayed in the report. For more information about the unattended execution account, see Configuring the Unattended Execution Account."

    Hello Krunal,

Thank you for the information. I'm not sure if authentication to the image is the issue.

Yes the image is external and located on the reporting server. The report renders correctly within the report viewer and on a desktop email client via subscription (MHTML format). The issue is specifically a mobile email client, which the image is included in the emailed report but only as an attachment and not embedded within the report. Within the report a blank square displays where the image should be located which the image is attached to the email not in the report.

Do you have any recommendations specific to a mobile email client?

Thank you so much for your time!

    Joshua
