    I'm sure you can. The question is what's in the collection of the record set you're passing in. You're passing in a System.Object type so you will need to cast it appropriately for the what you need to do with the data. Custom tasks are .Net code and any parameters passed to them would be accessed in a similar manner as a Script task.
