  • I am not sure that helps me. Consider this, using NHibernate I use a Session Per Request model for maintaining an ISession (which is like a DbContext in EntityFramework) in an MVC app. So at the start of each request the session is opened and closed at the request end. I would like to do a similar thing with WebJob's where the ISession (not to be confused with web session) is opened with the job is detected on the queue and started and closed when it finishes. So what is the lifecycle of the webjob events?

  • What would probably help is if I could retrieve the ExecutionContent / InvocationID using a method other than the binding parameter.
