Size of a DLL RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

these questions may sound wierd but i'd like to know the answers Smile

*Is there some kind of formula you can use to determine how big your DLL will be?
lets say you have 3 classes of 100kb 50kb 20kb and a resx file of 60kb. Is it possible to calculate how big the DLL will be (both debug/release)
*Does size of a dll determine how fast the dll will load?

    Thanks in advance,
    Andy

  • No I don't think you can easily derive the DLL size from the input files. It could vary depending on how compact your code is for example.

DLL size will sure affect its load time, but it's not the only factor.
