  • Hi,

    I am facing below error while procesing message thro' 

    Unable to get binding type for binding extension "sapbinding". Verify the binding extension is registered in machine.config.

    I have fallowed sandra's blog

    as well msdn article and made changes into machine.config file .

    Yet error is still there. Kindly suggest .

    I would suggest to repair/reinstall the BizTalk Server Adapter Pack (both 32 and 64bit versions) so that the correct entries get added to the machine.config file.

    Also make sure that you have the 64-bit WCF LOB Adapter SDK installed (if the OS is 64bit). Otherwise install the 32-bit WCF LOB Adapter SDK.

    Also when you added the entries manually please make sure that you added them to both 32bit and 64bit machine.config files (64bit config file resides in the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64 path). Note that in this approach, you have to first find out the public key and version for the assemblies first (as mentioned in below article)-

    Note: After the changes, please restart your Host Instances.
