EDI 834 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a database in sql server 2008 R2  having multiple tables Actually these tables containing the record of Hipaa 834  files .

     I want  to retrieve these records as a EDI 834 format in text file using biztalk server.

    Does anyone have any experience or suggestions to offer................

  • You can use the WCF SQL Adapter to retrieve information from the SQL tables and then using Biztalk Mapping to generate the EDI file. Check this article for developing and creating EDI solutions.

  • You should take guidance from your 834 implementation guide as that document should tell where to put this data.

    can this table be mapped into EDI-834 ...as this table does not contain any ST or SE information...

  • It really doesn't matter, the EDI ASM will overwrite those values anyway when it serializes the data to edi.

    Just extract the data, apply the map in either the receive or send port and viola, you are ready to go!

    Like in N1_SubLoop....or TS834_2000_Loop ...hey i m very new to this biztalk...
