  • Hello,

You can use "azcopy" to copy data.

You can refer to the mentioned document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-moving-data?toc=%2fazure%2fstorage%2ffiles%2ftoc.json

    Azcopy for Windows: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-use-azcopy?toc=%2fazure%2fstorage%2ffiles%2ftoc.json

    Azcopy for Linux: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-use-azcopy-linux?toc=%2fazure%2fstorage%2ffiles%2ftoc.json

  • Can you clarify what you want to accomplish? Azcopy allows you to copy a blob to a specific storage account. With managed disks, the intention is to abstract the underlying storage accounts - so you shouldn't are which storage account is being used.

If you have a VHD blob in a storage account, you can create a managed disk from it by following https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/scripts/virtual-machines-windows-powershell-sample-create-managed-disk-from-vhd
