forever animation in powerpoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • How can you play an animation forever in powerpoint, by code?

    I have this

    Set eff = ActivePresentation.Slides(1).TimeLine.MainSequence _
            .AddEffect(Shape:=sh, effectId:=msoAnimEffectFly, _
            Trigger:=msoAnimTriggerWithPrevious)

    With eff
    .EffectParameters.Direction = msoAnimDirectionRight
    .Timing.Restart = msoAnimEffectRestartAlways
    .Timing.RepeatCount = 10000
    .Timing.Duration = 6
    End With

  • Sure this code works, but the problem is with the repeatcount. 10000 is a large number but it will not play forever.

    In the PowerPoint UI you can set an animation to repeat 'until end of slide'. How do you set this 'until end of slide' by code?
