EDI Parser Goofup RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have an EDI File(837P), the tp is sending a space inbetween an element Tom* ***, net result is the XML is injecting a \r\n value for that node NM1*IL*1*Clancy*Tom* ***MI*12345678901

    How do I fix it? TIA

     <NM101__EntityIdentifierCode>IL</NM101__EntityIdentifierCode>
            <NM102__EntityTypeQualifier>1</NM102__EntityTypeQualifier>
            <NM103__SubscriberLastName>Clancy</NM103__SubscriberLastName>
            <NM104__SubscriberFirstName>Tom</NM104__SubscriberFirstName>
    <NM105__SubscriberMiddleName>
            </NM105__SubscriberMiddleName>

  • This sounds like a custom pipeline component for this case. I know I build one for a project where it would trim all the segments due to extra spaces.

    Thanks,

  • I am wondering is this a bug with EDI Parser? Why should the callee put extra document cleaning on his end?
