Defference between manager and Full Permissions? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all!

It's really simple question, but i couldn't find official answer.

    I have Exchange 2010.

I need to find what exactly permissions are being granted to manager of mailbox?

I mean manager that can be granted from Organization tab of mailbox in EMC.

    Thanks a lot!

  • Manager of shouldn't grant any permission, only who is his manager. It can in cases like Service manager be used to send e-mail to manager for approval.

In exchange so far as i know you can set permission on delegate setting in outlook, grant full access and send as,or EMC commands.

When have full access to mailbox,he can add this user as shared mailbox. He will then see every folder and have full permission to edit, delte or move files. But he cant send email as this user.

In distribution list, manager has the permission to add and remove members from the group.
