Animation for Children of a ListView RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.

I'm more of a C# guy. But due to some requirements im programming with javascript this time. Anyway, i was watching this video on channel 9 http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/BUILD/BUILD2011/APP-494T and at 00:55:00 he shows how to animate a page using only 3 lines of code (in C# XAML), but what im interested in is the GridView. See how it animates when it loads up. The items come in one by one. ( if i recall correctly, he says that it does it automatically, as its a built in control, Windows takes care of it (....if i recall correctly) ).

With javascript, i've only been able to animate controls (using "enterPage([Title, ListView],offset);" ) but that brings the whole listview in at once, and not item by item.

I've tried "enterPage(ListView.Children, offset);" but it doesnt work either....

So is there a way to do it? or does XAML have the advantage here?
