  • Question

  • Hello,

is there an example of using user-defined metadata?

I can create additional attributes on metadata model... but can't see these attributest in Explorer and edit values...

    Thanks

  • Hi Andreas,

After adding the additional attributes, you have to associated them with the attribute group that is showed for edition in Explorer for the Metadata model. For instance, for the Entity Metadata Defintion, you have to associate the new attributes to the "General Entity Information" group. You can do that as it's demonstrated here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff486997.aspx Don't forget to choose Metadata's model before choosing system administration area.

You can also create another attribute group for your new attributes and associate other permissions to that group.
